7th/8th Select Boys’ Program
Expectations
Advanced players at the 7th & 8th grade level
Eligibility requirements:
- you must play for your school team, which is 1st priority.
- you must be nominated by your school team coach and invited by the MS Select coach.
Purpose is to further enhance the development of the stronger players on the Quaker Valley and Sewickley Academy teams by playing games against stronger teams in and beyond Western PA.
Few if any practices
Schedule
Season: Approximately April 15 to June 4
Practice: Typically once a week on Saturday
Games: Approximately 8 games which include the middle school tournament at St. Vincents College and several playdays. This is an "A" bracket team. The schedule will not be set until early February.
Home Field: Sewickley Academy's Nichols Field or Quaker Valley Stadium
